Middleham House has a number of scenic walks for all abilities, with a number of stunning picnic areas and bathing pools along the River Clover. You can also visit the nearby castle and dine in the fine restaurants on your doorstep.
A little further afield, and you can enjoy historic houses and gardens, ancient castles and a wide range of adventure activities for all ages. The town of Leyburn hosts a weekly market on Fridays and a farmers’ market, perfect if you’re looking to prepare a family feast at our self-catered manor house to rent.
